Heidi's Happy Acres was founded with a simple yet profound vision: to create a community-focused farm that offers high-quality produce and a memorable experience for all who visit.

 

As the third generation to further the legacy on this farm, I’m honored to continue the tradition my grandfather, Rudy Ammon, began when he first acquired this land. My father, Richard Ammon, dedicated his efforts to milking cows and maintaining the fields.

Now present day, alongside my husband, Brian who is also a multi-generational farmer, we envisioned a unique approach to continuing the family legacy. Our farm now has its own individual vibe and look, focusing on summer and fall activities that create joyful experiences for all ages.

Over the years, we have expanded our offerings starting with a small road side stand of pumpkins to our farmland now encompassing a variety of specialty crops and activities. From our vibrant pumpkin patch, our winding corn maze to our cheerful sunflower fields, and from our delicious purple sweetcorn to our happy birds to our growing kids, every aspect of our farm is nurtured with love and care.

Every fall, we host Heidi's Happy Harvest, a family-friendly event featuring local vendors, food trucks, a petting zoo, and more. We also give back to the community through 'Pickin’ for a Cause,' donating a portion of our proceeds each season to a chosen beneficiary. Whether you’re here for the produce or the festivities, we’re glad to have you!
